Lisa Monette serves as a Senior Director of Account Management. In this role, she oversees global business development activities. She is also responsible for the development, implementation, analysis, measurement, and support of UBC’s strategic business plan, including ongoing account planning, opportunity targeting, cross-UBC unit lead sharing and communication, and customer relationship management.
Lisa has more than 20 years of clinical research industry experience spanning clinical operations, account management, and business development within the biopharmaceutical research environment. For the past 17 years she has focused on building, facilitating, and optimizing the business relationships between biopharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations. She is a content expert in clinical trial management oversight.
Lisa earned her pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and subsequently practiced pharmacy in North Carolina and Virginia in hospital, retail and drug information settings. She transitioned from a traditional pharmacist role into a clinical operations role within the CRO environment. She became a certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). After several years of operational experience, she transitioned over to a business development and account management role within the CRO industry.
