Abbe Steel, Vice President, Patient & Physician Services, Named to PharmaVOICE 100

We’ve got good news to share!  Abbe Steel, Vice President, Patient & Physician Services has been honored by PharmaVoice magazine as one of the 100 most inspiring people in the life sciences industry.  Abbe is known throughout UBC and among our clients as a creative thinker and an innovative problem solver, and we couldn’t be more proud as she receives this honor as well as national recognition.

Abbe excels at understanding the important and complex interplay between healthcare providers, the patients they treat and counsel – and the dynamics that can contribute to the most effective strategies to maximize the information needed by each of these stakeholders in optimized care. This includes how we can weave together important pieces of information from clinical, commercial, PBM and other available data sources to inform the choices Pharma makes to launch and commercialize novel therapies.

Abbe joined the UBC team eight years ago, and has been instrumental in the development and growth of our Patient & Physician Recruitment & Retention services.   A leader in building patient-centric recruitment solutions, Abbe has also been in the vanguard of the digital revolution in our industry, tapping into social media and other emerging technologies to expand outreach and to redefine the possibilities for patient health initiatives.

Generous with her time and experience, Abbe serves as a mentor and internal advisor. Her energy and excitement are contagious, which is one reason why she is a highly sought-after speaker for industry conferences.

Abbe’s personal achievements inspire us as well.  She’s an avid runner, often participating in charitable races.  In addition, she oversees the Ben Burdetsky Youth in Action Fund, a family foundation in honor of her father, which provides college scholarships to students in need.

Congratulations, Abbe!
