Patient Access Expert Joins UBC to Lead Commercial Product & Service Development

UBC is excited to welcome Roy Hall as the leader of the Commercial Product & Service Development team. In this role, Roy will leverage nearly two decades of experience to drive the strategy, approach, and evolution of UBC’s commercial product offering. Roy will consult with key internal and external decision makers to help drive successful program designs, including reimbursement hubs, patient assistance programs, and adherence strategies. Through client engagement, Roy will provide input and expertise to build on UBC’s legacy of innovative, effective products and services.

Roy’s career in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry began in 1996 when he worked as a Reimbursement Business Consultant and Clinical Practice Liaison, recommending reimbursement and access solutions for specialty products. Through the years, he has held a variety of roles in market access and managed markets, including his most recent position as the National Director of Field Reimbursement, Channel Access, and Site of Care for a multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer. He has become a subject matter expert in CMS policies, reimbursement, distribution, pricing, and contracting. Additionally, he has been involved in product launches within the specialty biologics and antineoplastic arenas.

Roy earned a bachelor of science in industrial/organizational psychology and a bachelor of arts in history, both from Fairmont State University.

Roy’s mission is to stay abreast of the healthcare landscape and policies to ensure our clients offer informed products and services to their patients. Passionate about his work, Roy joins UBC’s established culture of individuals dedicated to ensuring patients have access to the medications they need — when they need them.
