UBC Recognized for Excellence in Clinical Trial Communications

A leader in patient engagement across all aspects of drug development, access, and adherence, UBC has received seven awards for excellence in marketing and communications from two distinguished organizations.

UBC’s creative team within our Patient & Physician Recruitment & Retention Services produced these campaigns. The award-winning submissions include an animated video aimed at teaching pediatric patients in more than eight countries how to rate their hay fever symptoms according to a study protocol, patient-facing materials for a global pediatric oncology study, and a TV advertising segment used to recruit patients for heart failure studies.

We invite you to view the award-winning creative work here.

Our team has produced creative materials for more than 300 clinical and commercial programs and our graphic designers, clinicians, and global recruitment specialists work together to ensure content is appropriate for the recruitment population and meets the regulatory requirements of each country included in the study.

We produce traditional communications, such as study branding, investigator kits, TV advertisements, and patient study packs, as well as innovative collateral, including:

• Live action and animated patient-facing  instructional videos  (Informed Consent, drug administration, diary/patient reported outcomes completion)
• Site training videos
• Patient-facing websites (study information, recruitment screeners, alumni communities)
• Site-facing email campaigns utilizing gamification
• Automated triage tools

Many thanks to the sponsors we collaborated with to develop these materials and for giving us the opportunity to make life a little easier for patients, who are at the heart of everything we do.
