Ms. Staley is a three-time cancer survivor, first diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease as a sophomore at Syracuse University. Ms. Staley actively shares what she learned throughout her cancer journey to improve other patients’ experiences. She is the co-chair of the Tufts Medical Center Patient and Family Advisory Council and sits on the board of Massachusetts Health Quality Partners. She regularly speaks at conferences throughout the US. She has presented at Livestrong’s Rev2014, American Society for Breast Surgeons Annual Meeting, South by South West Interactive Conference (SXSWi), 140 Boston, and Social Media for Pharma. As an inspirational speaker, Alicia reaches many different audiences, providing insight into life as a 23+ year cancer survivor and supports other cancer patients in efficient, effective ways. She joined Cure Forward in January 2016 as head of Patient Advocacy and Lead Mentor. She constantly strives to educate patients and the public on clinical trials as a viable treatment option and invites patients to directly connect with her and ask questions on the Cure Forward site.
